Healing

This form of non invasive treatment relieves pain, tension and any imbalance experienced anywhere in the system. It is a safe and gentle therapy, and recent evidence has shown how effective it can be. Healing treats any condition and can be used alongside most other therapies including conventional medicine. The whole person is treated as the chakras and energy centres are brought into alignment during the session and all that is required of the client is to sit in a meditative state whilst receiving healing. Most people report feeling calmer and stronger after healing. Some report experiencing a sensation which is usually quite pleasant. For deeper conditions such as ME, diabetes, cancer, clinical depression and severe anxiety a combination of healing and homoeopathy can be very powerful.

Homoeopathy

Homoeopathy is a wonderfully gentle, natural and effective form of medicine. It treats the whole person by encompassing mind, body and spirit rather than treating symptoms alone, this allows us to treat mental, emotional and physical illnesses. Symptoms are seen as the body’s way of alerting us to a problem and by assessing these and looking at the cause we can help the body to heal itself and bring about balance and health. In this way most conditions are treatable with homoeopathy, and whilst a ‘cure’ can never be promised most patients benefit from the experience and report a greater feeling of well-being.

Because we use natural remedies it is safe and very effective for all members of the family including women during pregnancy. As they are natural they are also non-addictive and non-toxic. It is also safe to use alongside conventional medicine.

Time is taken with each patient to assess the remedies required and this allows us to individualise treatment to give the patient the best chance to improve their health. First appointments usually take two hours to allow the Homeopath to build up a picture of the patients’ medical history and circumstances, with follow up appointments lasting one hour. Generally the appointments are monthly, but support is available if required in between appointments. All sorts of conditions are treated with homoeopathy, and we tend to see a number of children with ezcema, asthma, behavioural difficulties, allergies, glue ear, puberty and recurring infections. Adult conditions tend to include IBS; migraines and headaches; stress; anxiety, depression and other emotional issues; insomnia; allergies; menopause/midlife crisis; excema; psoriasis to name a few.
